Martinez Mobile Tire Service was founded in 1987 by Francisco Martinez Sr. After running Martinez Tire Shop for many years, Francisco decided it was time for a change. He wanted to continue working in the tire industry, but in a way that allowed him to bring service directly to customers wherever they needed it.

He started the business on his own with one mobile truck, while his sons helped after school and on weekends. At the time, the company focused mainly on diesel truck tires and quickly began earning the trust of larger companies in need of reliable tire service.

In 1987, Francisco’s oldest son, Franky Martinez, joined the business full-time. Franky encouraged the company to expand beyond tires and begin offering diesel mechanic services as well. As demand continued to grow, the company added more mobile trucks to better serve its customers.

Little by little, the family business expanded and became what is now known as MTZ Co.

Today, MTZ Co. continues to operate from its Calexico branch and proudly serves customers across Calexico, San Diego, Los Angeles, and the Indio areas. The company has also expanded with a second branch located at 901 Imperial Avenue in Calexico, operated by Danny Martinez.

Over the years, MTZ Co. has grown its services to better meet the needs of its customers. In addition to diesel repair and tire services, the company now provides tow truck service, truck wash, mobile car wash, smog checks, new and used car tires, and mechanic repairs for regular vehicles.

What began with one truck and a strong work ethic has grown into a trusted company built on family, dedication, and dependable service.
